Our standards
Akshar Dies & Tools conducts business honestly, fairly and in compliance with the law. This code applies to all directors, employees and anyone acting on our behalf.
Anti-bribery and corruption
We do not offer, pay, request or accept bribes, kickbacks or improper payments of any kind, directly or through others, in dealings with customers, suppliers or public officials. We comply with the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and other applicable anti-corruption laws.
Gifts and hospitality may be given or accepted only if they are modest, infrequent, openly recorded and could not reasonably be seen to influence a business decision.
Fair dealing
- We compete fairly and do not share pricing or bids with competitors.
- We avoid conflicts of interest and disclose any that arise.
- We keep accurate books and records and comply with tax and GST requirements.
- We protect confidential information, drawings and designs entrusted to us by customers.
- We respect human rights: no child labour, no forced labour, fair wages and safe working conditions.
- We expect our suppliers and subcontractors to meet the same standards.
Raising concerns
Anyone who suspects a breach of this code can raise it in confidence by writing to [email protected], marked for the attention of management. We do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.
